Grounding in our masculine energy with an Open Heart

Welcome to our Men’s sweatlodge. I have been giving sweat lodges according to many traditions for over 20 years. The last few years I have been guiding men on the path to the Inner Warrior through workshops, fire rituals and guiding men’s groups. Male Grounding with an Open Heart is my focus.

This sweatlodge is meant to give your male anchor space, to cleanse on heart level, so you can step into life full of confidence.

Sweat Lodges are a rite of passage that allow men and women to return home to the Creator’s heart, a powerful ceremony of deep healing and spiritual connection.
Sweat lodges have been used for centuries worldwide by indigenous cultures. Also our Celtic ancestors used the Sweat House to cleanse and purify themselves.

The shape of the Sweat Lodge symbolises the sacred womb of Mother Earth. When we enter the womb of the Earth, we release what we no longer need, to purify and be reborn, to renew our energy with the power of earth, water, fire and air. In this way we can remember the origin of all life, and all the primal forces, where we have come from and where we are going. A sweat lodge is a process of surrender. It helps us to gain strength, to face our daily life with a clear mind and vision.

In the tradition of temazcalli, I work with lots of water and herbs. The temazcal was traditionally used by Mayas and Aztecs to purify the body, heart and mind to make a deeper connection with all elements, with yourself and with your environment. Temazcalli means: Te:Tetl = stone, Ma: Mazitli ; hot, Calli = house TEMAZCALLI house of the hot stones … The magical fusion between water and fire in the sweat lodge, creating steam, is called by the ancestors Atlachinolli, the energy that symbolises duality of life, but also the creation of all life, the sacred unity that brings us healing.

Welcome at 10h, we start with the stone and fire ritual at the latest at 10h30.
After the sweatlodge there will be soup and a sharing circle.
