Class & Jam Contact Improvisation

Dear movers,

My name is Alexa and I will facilitate a 2h Contact Improvisation workshop followed by a CI Jam @ the Temple of the Earth. In the class we will explore together some basics of CI, we will try to find ways to move with another body/s or alone, from a place of presence, softness and authenticity and discover how it can all become a beautiful dance.

What is a CI Jam? A place to explore, to create a space of awareness in our dance, to play, to bring out our bodies and our creativity and become a supportive witness of what emerges on the dance floor. It’s an invitation to be ourselves with what is there in the moment.

This Class and Jam is for everyone who wants to explore movement, be more present in the body and discover new ways to connect to others.

From 5-7 we have the Class, then there will be a break (bring something to share if you feel like) and after we will start with the Jam!
