Cacao & tribal dance harvest celebration

August 2, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

€21

Dear tribe,

Welcome Tuesday 2nd of August to celebrate Lammas/Lughnassadh, the celtic fest of the harvest.

A beautiful cacao & ritual dance celebration that brings us inwards to feel, what do we wish to harvest? What is it that we really cherish in life that we wish to honour and where we can eat the ripe fruits of all the inner work we have done during the year, planting seeds, giving them the nourishment that they needed, loving them … now it is time to harvest and share abundance with the tribe, through a ritual dance!

It is now high summer and the union of Sun and Earth, of God and Goddess, has produced the First Harvest. Lammas is the celebration and a time for gathering in and giving thanks for abundance.

It is also the great festival of Lugh, or Lug, the great Celtic Sun King and God of Light. Feasting, market fairs, bonfire celebrations, circle dancing, reflecting the movement of the sun and gatherings, were popular.

We also celebrate Ceres and Demeter, the Grain and Harvest Mothers. The deep core meaning of Lammas is that the fullness and fulfillment of the present harvest already holds at its very heart the seed of all future harvest. The seeds can drop back to earth and nurture the earth during winter time.

The cycles of life, so important outside and inside ourselves.

We also honour a cycle within ourselves and ending a cycle of four years that we planted the seeds for the Temple of the Earth. Time to celebrate this Rite of Passage.

Lottie is an initiated cacao facilitator and will prepare a magic cacao.

Phara will guide you through a ritual dance.

Welcome!
